Foodosti provides an online platform that connects drivers, markets, restaurants, home chefs, and cottage kitchens to customers, all referred to as Foodie Friends. To use Foodosti, drivers must agree to the Terms and Conditions of this Privacy Policy and User Agreement. Drivers must also agree to the following terms. You may provide your personal information to us when you use the Dosti Driver services, including when you sign up to become a Dosti Driver, authorize a background or driving history check, register as a driver, participate as a Dosti driver, participate in direct deposit, contact us with inquiries or otherwise communicate with us, or otherwise access or use the Foodosti platform.
We collect profile information associated with your Foodosti account, including your name, email address, phone number, preferred region and city, address, identification details, and other information that may identify you. We may also collect your preferences, such as language preference and preferences to receive texts instead of telephone calls. We may also collect your year or date of birth to assess whether you qualify to be a Dosti Driver and to determine eligibility for certain services such as delivery of restricted items. This information is used to create and manage your account, verify your identity, communicate with you, and enable you to access delivery opportunities on the platform.
We collect location information from your device when you use the Foodosti Driver application. This includes precise real-time location when the application is in use, as well as background location data when you are actively engaged in delivery activities. This location data is used to assign delivery requests based on your location, enable real-time tracking for customers, verify that you are present in the city or region in which you intend to operate, optimize delivery routes, and ensure accurate and timely deliveries. Location data is collected only when necessary for delivery operations and is not used for unrelated purposes.
We may collect driver and vehicle information, including your driver’s license number, license plate number, vehicle details, registration information, and insurance information. This information is used for identity verification, legal and regulatory compliance, and to ensure safe and reliable delivery services on the platform.
We may collect financial information to facilitate payments to drivers. This may include bank and bank account information, including routing and account numbers, transaction details, and expense reimbursement information. This information is used to process payments, manage direct deposits, and maintain financial records.
When you use the Foodosti platform, complete electronic forms, communicate with Foodosti customers, or contact us by online chat, email, phone, or text, we may automatically collect and store certain information about you and the activity you engage in. This may include your name and contact information, information that you voluntarily provide to us, the nature of your communication, the purpose of the interaction, and the actions we take in response to your inquiry or request. This information is used to provide customer support, improve our services, and maintain records of communications.
We may use your information to provide you with Dosti Driver services. For example, we use your information to set up your direct deposit and issue payments to you, allow you to connect to delivery requests, calculate payments owed, verify whether you are present in the city or region in which you intend to operate as a Dosti Driver, assess whether you have met requirements for promotional or incentive programs, evaluate supply and demand and other factors related to business operations, assess activity levels, acceptance rates, and customer ratings, and link your Dosti Driver account to your Foodosti account if applicable. Foodosti may also utilize driver information for internal audits, administrative purposes, and platform improvements.
We may share limited information with customers, such as your name and live location during active deliveries, to enable the delivery service. We may also share information with service providers and payment processors to support platform functionality. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
